In my entire life. the biggest new was that i had appendicitis. but today. very unfortunately, when i was having my recess. i was eating FISH FILLET. i was eating and chewing. then i felt a bone inside. i was wondering is it a bone of what. how can a FISH FILLET have a BONE in it? its rarely seen. ONE in a million maybe. but i swallowed it before i could even think that its a bone. after swallowing the bone, now i know its a BONE. i felt this piercing pain in my throat every time i swallow some saliva. its tormenting. i almost died. i drank lotsa water. forced myself to vomit. eat rice and rice balls. i even drank vinegar. it tastes foul, it burns. i felt a lil better after all this things i did. i felt sick and i was rather pale. tears were in my eyes, but the FISH FILLET'S BONE is still stuck in there. the canteen uncle had to fetch me to see the doctor. this doctor couldnt spot the bone. he ask me to go to the poly clinic. then i went t the polyclinic as instructed. i went there. feeling terrible. tortured. the queue was long. i had to wait. agony grew. but fortunately, i got piority. cos of the bone. so i could jump queue. i didnt jump much. i have still have to wait for 4patients before me. thats kinda good enough. but i was suffering in pain. Finally, it was my turn after a bitter and afflicted session. the doc used the torch and asked me to open my mouth big and wide. at first, he couldnt see a thing. but after i stretched my mouth a lil bigger, lowered my tongue. he was able to see the BONE. he confirmed with me. he asked for a something-that-looks-like-a-pincer and he asked the nurse to assist him by shining the torch into my mouth. the first attempt, i almost vomit. so its still stuck. Second attempt, just when i was going to close my mouth and feel the puke, he took it out. darn! i was so relieved. he told me that every choking cases that he had seen. he couldnt see the bone. its always too deep inside. but for my case. i was lucky enough for him to be able to see the bone. he prescribed me some lozenges and medicines. darn the bone was thin and about 1.5cm long. scary eh? never had i choke on bones before. usually it goes all the way down. maybe it pierced my stomach. i didnt know. alright i shall sum up. FILLETS re SCARY. never eat FISH FILLETS with BONE. IT CHOKES!
